It’s a hilarious video and can be seen on the GoToMeetingTV.com homepage. Thanks to everyone who took the time to create a video. We were overwhelmed with the work everyone produced. Hopefully we¡¦ll be able to organize more contests like this in the future.

A few updates and tips

June 10th, 2009

Hi everyone,

Hopefully your video creation is underway and you¡¦re making some progress. I¡¦ve been hearing from quite a few people that are almost done and I¡¦m really excited to see what you¡¦re coming up with.

I¡¦ve received a few questions recently that I think would be relevant to everyone so I decided to post some answers and tips here on the blog.

1) We¡¦ve updated the ¡§My Account¡¨ section with a new tab labeled ¡§Assets/Logos.¡¨ By clicking this tab you can link to our company and product logos to easily brand your commercials.

2) Quick reminder to everyone as noted in the FAQ under ¡§Eligibility¡¨ ¡V ¡§Anybody can be in your commercial as long as you have his or her permission (or their legal guardian¡¦s permission if they are younger than 18) and can provide proof of their permission in writing. Keep in mind, though, that videos cannot include any celebrities, celebrity look-a-likes, or celebrity sound-a-likes.¡¨

3) It¡¦s always beneficial to receive written permission from any locations you¡¦re in as well. You wouldn¡¦t shoot anywhere without permission right?

Finally, if you have any DIY filming techniques feel free to share them. I¡¦ll be compiling some research and posting some info I¡¦ve found.

Here is a great link to some low-budget lighting tips to make your videos look great.
